PERIOD: 9 Months

POSSITION: Work Shop Manager (Superintendent)

IN CHARGE OF: Main work shop.

EQUIPMENT: Altoguether approx. 250 pieces of equipments, i.e. heavy and ligth equipment, trucks, cars, pick-ups, etc.

PERSONNEL: During main construction time approx. 85 workers.

I worked at Aljaber Group for nine months. After starting at JEC central workshop at 11th. July, 2010, I was offered the position as superintendet of the main workshop (workshop manager) and as such to be in charge of Alwataniya ready mix workshop, I accepted and worked there until April 2011. Meeting and exceeding all the objectives set by the management of the company and the project manager in charge Mr. Basil Sanouri.

The company had some 300 pieces of equipments, including heavy machinery, lighweight machinery, vehicles and other facilities as well as a fleet of 100 mixer trucks, 20 for carrying cement, etc.

We were a team of 80 technicians and workers. 

NOTE: While I worked at the company Alwataniya, we made preparations to apply for the ISO 9001 Certificate, and after inspection, the company received it. Thanks to a highly motivated group, the maintenance deparment and its cooperation of which I was the leader, received a special mentioning during the inspection. We all considered safety as a priority in our daily work.
